Privacy policy
Last updated July 31, 2026. This policy covers the Signalpoint website and iOS app.
What we collect
When you create an account we store your email address, display name (if provided), role, industry, preferred edition, section interests, and a unique user ID. If you enable brief alerts we store a push notification device token. We also process sign-in via Apple, Google, or email through Firebase Authentication.
How we use it
Account data personalizes your brief (edition, sections) and keeps you signed in. Push tokens deliver optional morning-alert notifications. We do not sell personal data. We do not use your account data for third-party advertising.
Service providers
Authentication, profile storage, and push delivery use Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Messaging). Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In process credentials under those providers' terms. We use Firebase Analytics to measure aggregate product usage — for example brief views, section expansions, and sign-in completion — to understand which features are used. Analytics data is not sold and is not used for third-party advertising.
Account deletion
In the iOS app go to Settings → Account → Delete account. That permanently removes your Firebase Authentication account and Firestore profile. You can also email hello@signalpoint.news to request deletion.
Children
Signalpoint is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
